About the sessions
We offer adult tutoring in Maths and English to enable you to gain confidence or to simply improve your understanding. We also provide assistance with preparation for GCSE retakes.
Adult tutoring in Maths: Develop your knowledge and understanding of key mathematical concepts; improve your confidence in applying mathematical techniques to solve problems; and ultimately gain a realisation of the importance of maths within everyday life.
Adult tutoring in English: Improve your use of grammar, spelling and punctuation; widen your vocabulary; learn to critically analyse material; and learn how to use English in persuasive and imaginative writing.

Having never passed a single maths exam in my life and always being told that I am not mathematical; I decided to resit my maths GCSE aged 50yrs. Jim tutored me incredibly well, he took away the doubting monkey on my shoulder, explained everything in a way that I could understand (sometimes that meant many different ways) and gave me confidence.
